This course is part of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, which represents the engine of global economic growth. In fact, in this field, the employment rate and the added value grow faster than in the entire industrial sector.
The aim of this course is to train highly qualified technicians, able to tackle technical issues and to find and design innovative solutions through their extensive competencies. This professional profile must be able to work in team and to solve ITC issues by using innovative methods, techniques, and instruments.
Beside fundamental topics in the fields of mathematics, physics, and informatics, this course explores typical issues in the sectors as Electronics, Electromagnetic Fields, Telecommunications and Signal Processing. The choice of the curriculum directs students to specific study paths. The study path ends with a traineeship activity, which can be carried out either within companies or research centres.
Electronics engineers have general competencies in the fields of engineering and information, and specific competencies in the fields of Information and Communication Technology. Graduate students can work within the following sectors:
Communication and the meeting of individual requests are facilitated by the great relationship between professors and students who, beside theoretical courses, have the opportunity to carry out laboratory activities aimed at putting in practice the addressed topics.
Study activities are inspired by research projects recognised as “of excellence” and involving this course professors and researchers.
